Hi! I am Dr. Althea Man and I am a licensed chiropractor and contemporary medical acupuncture provider. I am a member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. I attended the University of Guelph and graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biology. From there, my interest in health and therapeutic exercise led to my studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, where I graduated in 2013 as a Doctor of Chiropractic.
My practice philosophy embraces the desire of those seeking a natural approach to health; by specializing in the conservative management of muscles, joints, and the nervous system through chiropractic adjustments and other soft-tissue therapies. I am committed to making a profound and positive difference in my patient's lives. From neck pains and headaches, to extremity and low-back pains, I have diagnosed and treated a wide variety of conditions, and welcomes patients of all ages to experience the benefits of chiropractic care.
My mission is to provide attentive, high-quality, evidence-based, individualized care that not only focuses on my patients' ailments, but their long term health goals and lifestyle improvements as well. While collaborating with the healthcare team at Chiropractic & Massage in the Village, I strive to develop an integrated and comprehensive treatment program that will address your health concerns in the most efficient and optimal way.
My passions include running, swimming, playing tennis, playing the piano, drawing, creative writing, reading, and my sweet Bernese Mountain Dog, Bunsen.
